Message from Ajay Kr Goel, BITS 1972-77, 78-80

We are very saddened to inform that Our beloved brother Narender kumar goel_ is no more , he left for his last journey on the night of 2/10/2020, at 11 pm , in Noida due to severe heart attack , Narender was an all India national scholar ( selected with four international scholarships for studies in Cambridge University UK , Cambridge, for pursuing PhD in computer aided design, and finite element analysis, he also got admission in top-five accredited universities of USA , for MS & PhD , in finite element analysis & computer aided design ,under NASA project , but preferred to go to Cambridge University ,UK ,after completing his studies in mechanical engineering from Bits pilani campus in 1982 ,as a Gold medalist, ( topper in every subject ,every semester n every year ,) he had designed the axle rig of mini commercial vehicles for Eicher motors in 1982 under bits Pilani practice school, there after he during his work( 1982_1985) with Usha international, Uptron , Steel authority of India ,he had the opportunity to successfully design the plastic components of the ceiling fan ,canopy blades , & small motor design ,n also the design of the plastic cabinet of the desk top computers and corrugated boxes, all for the first time in the country , which are being used in the country even today.
